Apple a Day

Apple a Day is an oil painting of flowers arranged in a glass vase, accompanied by an apple. Moving between figurative and abstract, its softly blurred forms give this familiar still life a dreamlike quality and a calming presence.

In selected areas, very heavily textured paint applied with a palette knife adds depth and a tactile quality, contrasting with the softer, blurred forms. Painted on heavy-duty linen canvas, the work offers a quiet focal point for a space where you want to pause and unwind.
